Today, developer The Coalition and publisher Xbox Game Studios dropped a new launch ad trailer for their up-and-coming third-person shooter ‘Gears of War: E-Day”. Dubbed “Adagio”, aptly after an arrangement of Samuel Barber’s “Adagio for Strings” by composer Adam Lastiwka, viewers get a brief glimpse into the horrors of “E-Day” as hordes of Locusts burst forth like rats and plagues:

Gears of War: E-Day is slated to launch across PC via Steam/Xbox PC and Xbox Series consoles (Play Anywhere supported)—joining Game Pass Ultimate’s lineup Day One when the game launches 6 October 2026. Check out our thoughts on the game here in our recent preview of the title!
