Diablo IV: Age of Hatred Collection is coming to Switch 2, this week

During the BlizzCon Opening Ceremony, Blizzard revealed a lot of information about games like World of Warcraft: Forever, a brand new Starcraft first person shooter, but more importantly for Switch 2 players, that Diablo IV is coming to the platform and it arrives on September 16.

Coming via the Diablo IV: Age of Hatred Collection, players will get the base game and the two expansions Vessel of Hatred and Lord of Hatred, but don’t worry about people hating them, they are fantastic. The day the collection releases is also when Season 15 kicks off, which adds even more content to the game for players to enjoy, you can learn more about it here.

The adventure will continue beyond the launch day, because in early 2027, a brand new character class will also be added to the game, for all platforms. The Amazon will wield a bow and javelin, you can see her in the first art below.

Players will take on the role of a powerful hero, with you being able to select from one of eight distinct classes, each offering its own abilities, playstyles and ways to destroy the forces of darkness. Whether you prefer devastating melee combat, powerful spellcasting, ranged attacks or unique supernatural abilities, build your character around the skills, equipment and legendary powers that best suit your playstyle. With the addition of the all-new Paladin and Warlock (or the Amazon next year), there are more ways than ever to experience the brutal battles of Sanctuary and create a build uniquely your own.

Across the games main campaign, confront Lilith’s fanatical cultists, battle the forces corrupted by Hell and, as the story continues, face Mephisto’s most devoted zealots. Discover the hidden history of Sanctuary and its inhabitants while piecing together the events that have shaped the world. Every victory brings you closer to the truth — but also deeper into a conflict where the line between salvation and damnation becomes increasingly difficult to see.

Beyond the story, Diablo IV delivers a deep and constantly evolving endgame experience designed for players who want to continue growing stronger long after the main campaign.
